A 10-foot laminated bronze tabletop
Here is a huge glass tabletop in a light bronze colour. This piece is 10 feet long and over 4 feet wide. We laminated 6 mm bronze glass with 12 mm extra clear low-iron glass to create a very strong glass slab.
Fabrication of this custom glass tabletop is not a problem with all the necessary equipment to handle heavy oversized glass in the shop. The most challenging part of this project was handling the glass piece with the weight of 400 pounds.
Matching a designer’s colour
A challenge of the project pictured here was a request from the designer to match the colour of the tabletop to the colour of the light fixture glass above. We have to admit that laminating bronze glass with extra clear low-iron glass made it possible.

Glass tabletops will complement virtually any material, shape or style of the table base. There is no limit to the size of the tabletop. Square or rectangular tops can be produced with straight or rounded corners.
We attached a glass base for the stability of this tree stump table base and installed a larger tabletop above.
Custom shapes from a template
Custom shapes for glass tops are usually more expensive than square or rectangular. There is usually a need for a template to cut glass to exact shape. This template has to be transformed into a digital shape for further CNC cutting and polishing.
This circular laminated glass tabletop is secured with two stainless steel standoff caps.
Resting or attached tops
Thanks to our expertise in glass processing and creative vision, we are able to design and produce custom glass tabletops for any table base in any shape that you may have in mind. The tabletop can simply rest on the table base or can be attached to the base, usually with stainless steel fasteners.
