A desk that keeps the lake view
Our clients, a young professional couple, live in one of the condo apartments overlooking Lake Ontario in Toronto. They didn’t want to block any view from their office.
The final result is amazing. The clients chose to go with 3/4″ thick extra clear low-iron glass for the project. The glass panels were CNC-machined and polished with rounded corners.
UV-bonded mitered supports
We have UV-bonded two mitered glass panels together and used this assembly as a tabletop support.
Matching printer table
In addition to this desk, we have fabricated a smaller version of the same concept to be used as a printer table.

Custom glass desks and cabinets

Custom glass desks with shelves
We have designed and fabricated this custom all-glass office desk for one of our clients. Our customer wanted to replace an old desk, but wanted to have a lot of storage space for different projects without using traditional drawers.
Tempered glass tabletop
We listened and designed this solid masterpiece with a glass tabletop 6 feet wide and 3 feet deep. This desk is produced from 12 mm (1/2″) thick tempered safety glass. The tabletop is resting on two side glass supports.
Two different side supports
These side supports have different construction. We combined an L-shaped open glass cabinet with three shelves on one side of the desk and a corner glass cabinet with a glass top and two additional shelves to support the tabletop on the other side. This glass cabinet is attached to the tabletop by two architectural standoffs.

You can choose supports for this desk to be exactly as the desk displayed on this page, or you have an option to choose identical supports on both sides.

Custom-made glass desk and glass side table
Custom glass furniture fabrication is our specialty. We design and fabricate glass desks, console desks and custom glass cabinets. This project also included corner glass shelves that were attached without any brackets into the mirror corners.
A desk that keeps the view
With the floor-to-ceiling windows in this condo apartment, our customers didn’t want anything that would obstruct the view. But they needed a desk for a den. As you can see, the solution is very elegant. A 3/4″ thick extra clear glass tabletop with rounded corners is resting above two L-shaped UV-bonded support legs. This setup allowed us to create two work spaces on each side of the desk. In addition, there is a clear view of the lake through the custom glass desk.
Matching glass side table
Additionally, to complement the beautiful desk, we have fabricated a smaller side glass table in the same style, with the same 3/4″ thick extra clear glass and rounded corners on the support leg and the top. All parts of this side table are bonded together with invisible clear adhesive.

A signature glass desk
The glass office desk from Conform Glass is one of our signature products. As a custom glass furniture fabricator located in Toronto, we are glad to present this unique all-glass desk to the public.
12 mm tempered safety glass
The desk is made from 12 mm tempered safety glass. The standard desk top has a rectangular shape and straight 90-degree corners.
UV-bonded supports
Both desk top supports are fabricated using the glass UV-bonding method. Panes of glass are attached together with a very strong adhesive that cures under UV light. The desk top is attached to one of the supports by stainless steel standoffs and rests on top of the second L-shaped support.
Custom made to order
This product is custom made, so you can add your personal touch when you order it. It is available with straight or rounded corners for glass shelves and table top. There are a number of different glass options available. You can specify the exact width and height of the table as well as the number of additional shelves.
A home office desk
This desk was fabricated for a client’s home office.
Heavy 3/4″ (19 mm) thick extra clear Starphire tempered safety glass is held together by a stainless steel tube.
Metalwork done in-house
Thanks to our metal fabrication team, we were able to complete this project in-house. The ends of the stainless tube were closed, drilled and tapped with a thread. The stainless steel plate outside the glass is held by two standoff caps.
