Conform Glass now has its own metal fabrication shop. With this new venture, we can now offer unique custom-framed mirrors in a variety of shapes. Here are a few of our completed projects.

With our in-house metal fabrication department in full swing, we are able to provide a new product: custom-shaped mirrors with a metal frame. These mirrors have become very popular lately.

Custom LED mirror fabrication by Conform Glass is never boring. When customers come to us with their vision, we bring it to life. It could be as simple as a rectangular mirror with ambient LED light or as complex as a custom-shape mirror with light going from the mirror surface.

We measured the space perfectly, so the mirror has even space all around, and it looks amazing. A 2-inch-wide sandblasted line allows LED light to shine from behind the mirrored surface.

Another large rectangular LED mirror with a similar border LED pattern was installed in another bathroom in the same house.

Metal is a very versatile material available in different profile shapes and dimensions. For every task we select the appropriate shape of metal profile, like tubing, angles or flat bars, and use the selected materials for fabrication.

Stainless steel is usually the preferred material for outdoor metal structures. This material keeps its appearance for a very long time outdoors without fading or changing colour.

This small balcony railing was added to raise the height of balcony walls to pass building inspection. We used regular steel powder-coated in black.

There are plenty of options when it comes to steel fabrication. Based on your design, we can fabricate striking pieces using stainless steel and glass.

Metal and glass doors can be installed in virtually any room in your house. We fabricate and install steel doors with glass: regular swing doors, pivot doors and sliding doors. All metal welded doors are available with full glass or with a grid pattern of your choice.

One of our customers was looking for elegant and modern gates to be installed at the entrance of their property. Our metal fabrication team designed, fabricated and installed the gates at the entrance road of the customer’s lot.

The horizontal tubes of the steel gates are meticulously welded together and treated to prevent rust. When welding is done, the whole structure is galvanized first and then powder-coated in a gunmetal colour.

A remote operator and a communication device were added later by other trades.

After this, the metal welded gates were fully operational and convenient to use.

Welded steel partitions and room dividers, also called loft-style partitions, have become increasingly popular in recent years as many homeowners move toward open-concept living. Loft-style partitions are available with swing doors, pivot doors or even steel sliding doors. There is a variety of glass options, including clear or frosted glass, as well as different textured glass that we usually keep in stock and can install inside of the metal frames.

Fabrication and installation of welded metal room dividers are done by the same trade, and in most cases installation takes no more than a day. If you decide to build a traditional room divider with wooden swing or sliding doors, you will need multiple trades to work on your project, like framers, drywall installers and tapers, and on top of that, you will need a finish carpenter to install doors and trims and a painter to paint drywall and trim work.

In many of our own projects, we needed custom-fabricated metal components to complete our glass installations. As the need for metalwork grew, we finally decided to start our own production of welded metal components. When we fabricate metal parts with our own craftsmen, we do not depend on the availability and schedule of other trades.
